At Anglo, we believe it is important for our customers to understand the process of shipping to the EU post Brexit.
Below we have FAQ’s:
I live in the EU, can I still buy from Anglo in England, UK?
Yes, we continue to ship parcels daily to the EU.
Will I be charged UK value added tax (VAT)?
No. Prices on our website include UK VAT. If your delivery address is in the EU, when you enter your shipping details UK VAT will be removed from your order. However, you will need to pay the relevant VAT for your country on the arrival of the shipment in EU. This will be done via a text or email from our shipping courier DPD and paid directly to them.
What extra costs will there be?
We have reviewed our shipping prices and we are pleased to confirm that we will maintain our prices at the same level as last year. DPD charge a small admin fee to cover customs clearance costs, this has been set at 5-6 Euro per consignment depending on the country. There may be between 0-4% duties, subject to country of origin. VAT and any duties will be payable directly to DPD.
How do I pay VAT and duties?
DPD will send you an email or text with confirmation of our shipment and any VAT, duties and admin fees applicable. Once paid, they will release the shipment for delivery.
Will shipping take longer?
There have been teething problems in the first couple of weeks since Brexit and there have been delays. However, the automated process has improved significantly and as of today, we are experiencing 1-2 days delay on usual shipping dates. DPD will review their shipping date advice in the future, but they hope to be able to continue offering their previous delivery times.
Are there any hidden fees?
No, you will only be expected to pay VAT, admin fee, and duties (where applicable).
Do you still offer a warranty on parts sold to EU?
Yes, all parts come with 12 months warranty, please review our terms and conditions for full details.
Can you still ship pallets to EU?
Yes, we can still ship pallets. The process will differ slightly from parcel shipments via DPD.
Are there any restrictions on products?
At the moment, we are unable to ship paint, batteries and oils outside of the UK.
