Gordon & Oscar fit the bushes (or bearings) to reduce friction between the the piston and connecting rod of their Ferguson TED20.

'Fitting new small end bushes on the conrods and then reaming them out to fit the gudgeon pins snuggly. A slow job requiring patience and precision. This task can be outsourced to an engineering shop, but we decided to do it ourselves and show you how we do it.'
